All-Stars Information

BLAINE AREA LITTLE LEAGUE

The Blaine Area Little League consists of two charter organizations under the rules of Little League baseball international with the American Charter consisting of the boundaries which serves the Spring Lake Park Schools and the National Charter consisting of the boundaries serving the Blaine High School area.

JULY - ALL STARS BASEBALL

The regular season for players at the 9-12 year old level concludes in June with end of season tournament events. This season we have options for players to continue playing in July We are offering All-Star teams that compete against other district opponents and are also adding an "extended season" for coaches and players that want to continue to play that are not a part of the All-Stars program. Coaches and players can only be a part of one program. Extended season is a free program, but All-Stars will cost each player $60 for tournament fees, equipment and player expenses. 

Based on nominations and recommendations from the age level coaches All-Star teams are formed for each of our chartered organizations at the 8-9, 9-10, 10-11, and 11-12 year old levels for district play in July. We will have a team from each charter at each level if there is interest. We will also have teams from each of our charters at the 8-9 level. Coaches and players accepting a roster spot on an All-Star team must be available the entire month of July for practice and play.

The team selection process is conducted by the league coaches and approved by the board of directors. The coach selection process is conducted by the board of directors. The goal is to develop the best representative team from our organization to play against other district organizations in tournament play. 
 
Teams assignments will be announced after June 15th and teams will begin preparations for All-Star play at that time with games beginning the week of July 8. The season concludes the last week in July if a team advances through all rounds of play.

8-9 All-Stars Tournament (Crystal, MN)

9-10 District All-Stars Tournament (Brooklyn Center, MN)

11-12 District All-Stars Tournament (Coon Rapids/Andover, MN)

10-11 District All-Stars Tournament (Brooklyn Center, MN)
